An Electrical Engineer by qualification, he began his professional journey in 1981 and steadily rose through dedication, continuous learning, and professional excellence to become Director – Systems (Asia) with Ayesa Ingeniería, a globally respected Spanish multinational engineering organization.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Sharma has contributed to several landmark infrastructure and life-safety projects across multiple countries, specializing in high-end MEP systems, tunnel ventilation, sustainability, and green building technologies. He is associated with internationally renowned professional bodies including IEEE, CIBSE, ASHRAE, and IGBC, reflecting his commitment to innovation, sustainability, and lifelong professional growth.
Beyond engineering, Mr. Sharma strongly believes that true success is built not only on academic qualifications, but also on self-awareness, values, discipline, adaptability, and the courage to pursue one’s purpose. Driven by a deep desire to guide and empower the next generation, he founded Future Guardians, a career counseling and mentorship initiative dedicated to helping students discover their strengths, make informed career decisions, and prepare for a rapidly changing future. Through practical guidance, industry exposure, and value-based mentoring, Mr. Sharma aims to bridge the gap between education and real-world success.
In 2025, he also launched the “Kanhaiya Lal Tech Vyakhyan” initiative at K.L. Polytechnic as a tribute to his parents and alma mater, with the mission of inspiring youth through knowledge, technology, innovation, and service to society.

I have known Mr. L.R Sharma very closely, we have been regularly interacting at personal as well as professional level. He is a rare single pack full of integrity, commitment, sincerity, who stands for every spoken word. He is a patient listener, understanding is clearly visible, thoughts are communicated in precise few words and the follow-up actions are as visible. I have known Sharma Sir, for more than a decade through our professional association at Ayesa and our continued interactions over the years, having worked in the same railway and engineering consulting domain.
